The
Pocosin Arts Gallery
Please note: Our downstairs gallery is currently undergoing renovations to repair damage sustained during Hurricane Irene. While we rebuild, please be sure to visit other galleries in Columbia for excellent works in arts and craft! The mission of Pocosin Arts Folk School is connecting culture to the environment through the arts. The exhibits in our Gallery reflect this mission, with a permanent display of the traditional arts and folk craft of the people of the pocosin region of eastern North Carolina. The gallery also features temporary exhibits, often organized by theme, featuring the current work of Pocosin Arts program participants, teachers, and other regional artists whose work exemplifies our mission. Its about this place of pocosins, the people, and the things we make. |
